Oh Alice..ut ohhhhhhh. Tracy's face was the face of the week I think.. lol DOH! And.. Alice called Tracy a BULLY!! 

FIGHT!! FIGHT!! awesome..ahahhaa.  No one wants to stop it either. HEH AJ tells Tracy to leave with her new BFF- and made Alice head of security and honorary VP.

Dr. O makes GH Fun again... She says to Brit "You look FAT" LMAO ..heh and she mentions FLYING MONKEYS!! Calls Nurse Betty "the concubine" and Felix her "sassy gay friend" . She basically calls Brit out for being horrible at scheming too.   Britt tells her that her mother couldn't win Faison's love. Dr. O smacks her across the face! 
Britt admits she loves Patrick but that isn't his child she's carrying.


"Can u imagine her as a baby in her barbwire playpen gnawing on cute, lil furry animals with her razor sharp teeth?" -Felix says to Sabrina

Sonny and Morgan ..blah, blah.. and Michael and Kiki go round and around.. Morgan tells Sonny Kiki's NOT a Quartermaine and Connie overhears it!! ooooooooooooooo!!

Franco's in a coma with a giant blue tube--and HIS HAIR. His hair wasn't touched for BRAIN surgery LOL  Paddy says that he can't donate marrow right now because the tissue was 'suspicious' meaning may be cancerous.  Carly goes in and just gabs away at the guy, who's laying there helpless.  He reaches out to hold her hand. 

SCOTT SICKLES WROTE today's show and I'm his big new fan. It was a fun, fun day--dialog writers DO matter. wow. I loved the show.

Oh settle in. Today's Surgery is a long one...think brain operation with some organ transplant thrown in.  I just have to bitch a bit. And I'm WAY interested in what you're thinking about all this as well.  Let's scoop that toomah out!! 

And PS..all of you at the Fan Club Weekend in LA.. I hate you just a 'lil bit!! LMAO 

The bridge.  How can I do Sunday Surgery this week without mentioning THE BRIDGE. I'm sorry, but it was a giant flop. Everyone knows I'm a huge Cartini fan and loved Ron's writing on OLTL. This summer on GH however, has just been off in so many ways. This last stunt took the cake.
First of all, casting RH as "Franco" to then "reset Jason" is just too convoluted and in your face EVERY DAMN DAY that I just got sick of it. RH seemed to be having fun playing Franco at first--then it just got sloppy.  The whole "Jason/Franco Yin-Yang crap talk" was almost exactly what they said in the stairwell of the MOCA.  But hey, it had some legit to it because Jason was really JASON. He wasn't "Jason" being played by "Franco" being played by "TODD" (and let's face it, there was a whole lotta Todd in that Franco). So, having the "Twins" come together was just basically weird in my world. 

What the HELL just happened?

Now to the acting. I LOVE Roger. This week however..um. What he heck? I have to think he hated the material. Or he was jet lagged. Or something because.. well. If he was trying to act like "Jason"--that wasn't how "Jason" would be. He wouldn't be fake-crying on that bridge.  Franco? Well, he did him better when he first came on. Talking to Heather Webber he really had that creepy smile going. The hoodie Franco was dull and just-ugh.
I understand they are breaking apart Jason and Franco by using a medical tumor and some trauma. I get it. This is so that "Franco" can emerge a fresh new butterfly and spread his wings over Port Charles. 
My next point is why did Starr and Todd come back as they did? Lauren is NOT really a Quartermaine--and they are NOT father and daughter, which is the whole point I thought. So, that whole thing goes out the window. They certainly didn't give Kiki and Franco any "bonding time" so when she finds out he's NOT her Dad, it can't be that big of a deal. She can go screw Michael and that will be that. 

*sigh* 

She's gonna owe the Q's a whole lotta scotch!

My next beef is about more than just this scene. It's about the choppy life of GH  lately.
Anna and Duke--I know they'll get more front-burner when the whole Robin story gets going again. I'm sure Luke will be looking for Jerry and it will all come to a head. Why leave them OFF all this time? Having them on once every 2 weeks is driving me nuts. Ditto Flea and Mac---hello PLAN THAT WEDDING. Maxie's PG and fighting with herself over the baby. GET THEM INVOLVED. Good Lord. Just do it. I guess I should say a thank you for having Leslie and Monica on. Yes, that was brilliant. A tiny nugget I can take away and savor. Why do we get 77 hours of AVA drinking scotch when we could have had more Lucy, Monica...Laura, Scotty yada yada??  Maybe have Scotty and Laura look for a house and decide to open a Brownstone type place.  Do more with Deception. Did Milo disappear? Milo who was on DAILY with Lulu and is now totally MIA? I still say this show is 10 days on, 10 days off of story rotation. 

Well, Michael Got Some. And then, Felix talked him into trying to get BRAD... LOL. I did like Felix --the story is weird but whatever.  Penny was a great name, btw. A nod to Big Bang and Penny the Kelly's waitress (she filled in for Liz when Liz never wanted to work)

Oh Poor SCOTTY... Bye Laura, go find Luke. Where do you think she's going to start? Maybe at the Swiss Clinic? Robert/Holly? Hmmmm. We'll see a bit later on. I'm sure this is the next 'adventure' and the start of finding Robin. Oh, and PS in case you forgot, we were reminded that Scotty is running for the DA.

AHAHAHAA...even when he's dead he's ALL OVER GH. First the Bridge and now Sam's praying to St. Jasus. Goodness. Yet--note, when she asked for a sign, McSilas was at the door.  Hmm. 

Good things: Felix getting Brad to almost be human. Michael's 'gay' shirt.... The Q's business and meeting. Tracy finding out Alice was the flipper. Oh ALICEeeee. you got some explainin' to do!!
Moronigan proposing to Kiki was a bit of hilarity. Sam wearing the same outfit all week. (which is basically yoga outfit and black bra!)

I swear he was here-- a day ago or so...

 Weird stuff: Ok, Nikolas and Alexis are talking over an empty baby-crib and never once wonder what's going on. No one stops by the room to tell them what's happened until it's basically all over. AHAHAAA.   Ava's zipper dresses. She wears a sheath dress daily. With big zippers.  

  and of course....

 Nikolas and Britt. Good beginning to this!! We know that she's going to be an AWESOME Cassadine...whee! I think people are calling them Brik. 

 

SCENE OF THE WEEK: No..not  Morgon proposing to Kiki. It was Tracy and AJ busting on them. "What, you're like 10"...and  "I'll get the juice boxes" ...OHH yes, it was fun and I laughed and laughed. 

Suprise  SCENE OF THE WEEK Evil Dr. O is back..and gave me the goose bumpins! Wasn't expecting it and I really LOVED it!!

So, Roger is off doing his Californication stint and Franco is in a COMA--so, there you go. We'll be Franco FREE (except for the mentions) for awhile. Thank you!! How are you liking this summer?? GH has times of greatness and I know it's 100x better than it used to be. I just really need more consistency.

Sunday Surgery: Brain Games

SO, another Tumor Grows in Port Charles.  Must be something in the air. Is it pressing on his frontal lobe? You know it is! Patrick has to operate. Well, first he has to show CARLY the tumor because, well she IS a doctor.
Oh, wait.
NO.

Anyhoo, the hell with HIPAA !! Get your scrubs on and lets wash up for a giant soapy surgery. 

Let's get to the FRONKEY in the room.  Or in the brain. There's Todd...who became Franco, having a seizure and thinking he's Jason.
Follow that?  Good, because now the Tumor comes in. See, it's all due to this pesky mass pressing on his frontal lobe. Awww. Why did Franco go mad and spray paint Port Charles? Tumor. Pretend-rape Sam? Tumor.  Put Lulu on a bomb-chair? Terrorize Jason? Tumor, Tumor, Tumor. 
So, time to get that pesky thing eradicated  and I guess we'll find out  just who TODD, FRANCO, JASON will become. 
I could bitch all week on this, but why bother? If it gets the story moving along, just DO it. Whatever. Now we know Silas is Kiki's dad-- which was one of the reasons why I at first accepted the Franco persona for Todd. That way, he and "Starr" would still be daddy/daughter. But, no, we have to twist it. I guess it's pretty funny if you think about the hate Todd and McBain had for each other on OLTL. 
Anyway, this week I started to get a bit of an inkling of how people felt when the OLTL three came on. If I'm tired of it, can't imagine what people who don't deal with them well are thinking NOW. The three are really dominating the show. Everything else seems to be filler. This latest Tumor stuff? I guess more of a showcase for RH. When he came down in Jason's leathers, well, I just laughed.  You know Cartini are having their way with Burton. heh.  I love Roger but move along. Just move along.

Mundo screen time for this lady!! Geesh.. I like Maura but Ava is just EVERYWHERE!! My favorite part was her planting the seed into dum dum  Morgan's head about Kiki and Michael if he doesn't keep his secret. (which lead to Morgan proposing..duh) She's got her fingers in every pie. Heck, she even keeps her daughter's birth certificate in her purse!! At the ready--for whatever comes up...like making sure THE AUDIENCE SAW IT. Just in case we are so stupid as to not GET IT. LOL

Oh, Laura.. time to find an office!! And poor Lulu, sick with a cold and Livvy taking care of her. LOL That purple shiny blouse? OY.  Scotty? Well, let's just say they are both looking at a script from the early '80's that talks about his "Spencer" hate. 
Less  Tumor time, more Laura/Scott/Lucy/Tracy Leslie Monica time. And, oh yeah, FELICIA  is supposed to be planning a wedding. Um, MORE PLEASE!!  

Spinelli going to the gallery was a bit weird, wasn't it? I guess it was to push the Silas story forward but it was like...huh? He never really got any info, just goofed around in a suit trying to make up a story.

Lamaze Classes were pretty fun.  And come on, that outfit of Brits? Worth the price of admission. I am really liking the possibility of Nik and Britt because I think she'll make a FINE Cassadine! 

Awwww.... WHAT A BAMBINO!! Sonny and Liv. Well, they ALMOST made it into bed. Then Connie had to come in and had to  ruin it by distracting Sonny's libido for 3.4 seconds. At least Olivia was around to go take care of Lulu. You know, because her GUNSHOT WOUND to the HEART wasn't bad enough. @@ Personally, I don't care about Sonny and Connie one bit. Not unless she goes nuts again. *yawn*

LET DOWN OF THE WEEK:  Wah..wah. Now, the acting was awesome. We got that. But the build up? Mag covers? Tweets from the GH gang? It was all bullshit. Yeah, we found out he had dreamy hair, rode a motorcycle and they met at a bar but it still leaves us with ziltch. I get that we want this story that's lagged on FOREVER to give us some more drama time but bait and switch? Crappy thing to do, imo.  It was like "ha ha... you STILL don't know who Sam's daddy is"!

SCENE OF THE WEEK:  Oh, MONICA and LESLEY !! Squee!! They were so good and the dialog was heaven. References to AJ's birth and Monica's million affairs.. Lesley's age. Monica calling Lesley "Lester'  which is her nickname in real life.

PROP  OF THE WEEK:  Ouija board.  It actually spoke to us and gave us some information! Every J is a suspect of being Sam's daddy now. 

FACE OF THE WEEK: Not so much LULU's but dang, LOOK AT MAXIE'S face! She's totally Nellie OLSEN in there!!  

So, what do you think of this summer's GH so far? I am liking the baby shuffle stuff. The Lamaze class was good--Brad's blackmailing is scheming and soapy.  Michael and Kiki would be more interesting but to me, it's not paced right.  I do feel like stories are being woven, I just feel like they are uneven and choppy as well. This Janco Franco Tranco stuff needs to go-too much. And NONE of the fun wacky Franco stuff we are used to.

Teen Beach Movie With Chrissie Fit !

GH's own Mercedes is in the New Disney "Teen Beach Movie" set to debut tonight on the Disney Channel.
USA Today calls  it " more colorful, acrobatic and full of tunes than any of the actual beach films ever were".  The cast has been all over morning TV dancing it up to promote the film.

Fit plays Chee Chee in the Musical and boy, does she sport some beehive hair !!  Watch her interview on You Tube about the film.
